StoneRidge Bullmastiffs

 

Welcome to Stoneridge Bullmastiffs. We have just relocated to a new location. 

We will still contiue showing and be in the Illinois/Indiana area as before

 because of our partnership with other breeders, family and

friends but we are changing our main location

 to Georgetown Kentucky.

Breeding Program

 

    

We are a small kennel with just a few family house pets. We don't have puppies very

often and usually have a waiting list for our planned breedings. First and foremost,

we believe in health, temper and conformation of the breed. These must go hand in hand,

with the desire to improve on everything you produce. We believe these are the key

ingredients to keeping our breed true to it's nature. We use OFA, penn hips, Cerf and other

specialized tests to insure the health of all our dogs before breeding them. We also, believe that

just because a dog has passed their health screens and conformation championship, doesn't

always mean they should be breed. Each dog needs to be judged on an individual basics and

matched with another dog in the efforts to help correct or emphasize each other. We try to work

closely with other breeders to learn from there past experiences. We hope to reach our goal by

gathering their knowledge and add it, to our on going research of the past, present and foreign

stock to help preserve the breed and make a strong foundation for the future.

 

 

  

We have a wonderful Male  "Ch Dox Stoneridge Bosco Blend CD RA", and co-own "CH Simba VIII",

 "CH Stoneridge Freddie Prinze", "CH Stoneridge Tartans Maximus Dream RN", Stoneridge I'm the big Gun",

and "Stoneridge Major Dutch". We also have a very fine girl " Int CH Dox Stoneridge Megan" in which

we are showing and if we decide to breed her she should produce some nice puppies.

We do co-own most of our dogs in order to give them wonderful homes.

We had breed our Female, Clara, that had been out showing. She had

 a beautiful litter of puppies with CH Dox Ice Man of Oakridge. All of the puppies 

have started their conformation showing. This Litter Produced our Champion Male

" CH Dox Stoneridge Bosco Blend " along with two other wonderful show dogs,

" Dox Porter of Stoneridge" and " De La Brooke Of Stoneridge".  Clara was also

bred with "CH Dox Mister Boston". Who has produce some incredible looking puppies

 which have all started to show. "Dox Stoneridge Megan", "Stoneridge Major Dutch" and 

"Dox Clarly Special of Stoneridge" were all produced from this litter and are doing well.

  Clara had very limited showing and in her second show she won Best of Opposite Sex,

Best of Winners. We expected her to do well in the show ring but she was very uncomfortable

showing so we decied to retire her.

    

All of our dogs are home raise and live in the house with us as a family. That is why we co-own 

most of our females and males so, they to can live in a wonderful home with a loving family. 

 We will be updating the site with show results and if and when we decide to breed

again. So check back for updated information. We believe that a female

should only be breed two or three times in there life

     

  and they should be spayed after their last whelping to ensure no unplanned

 puppies and to ensure good health in the future. We also believe that only healthy and well

conformed dogs should be breed. We want to breed to improve the breed standard and

 produce only the best puppies. If you are interested in one of our puppies please

 contact us early because they will find homes fast.

  

 All of our puppies have been vet checked, vaccinated, micro-chipped, started on

Revolution and wormed if needed. They are all in door pets and are socialized with other

pets, and kids. We bring them out with us as much as possible and let others handle them so they are 

very well socialized with others.  

 

 

  

Our stud services are available to select females of correct age, health and conformation. 

 The breeding methods we use most often are (Artificial Insemination) A.I. 

 

We also, can ship semen to you or to your vet for an A.I or surgical implantation.

We collect fresh semen and use only the best extenders and shipping products.   

    

If the owner is close I can also provide the first set of Vaccinations, worming, and

 micro-chipping at the request of the bitch owner for a very small fee. 

At six weeks of age we can also provide the puppies with their first vaccinations and

worming for a very low price. The vaccinations given are the Bordetella, and DHLLPC

(this includes Distemper-Measles, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus

 and Coronavirus. We can also micro-chip the puppies at a discount.

About Me

I am a veterinary technician student from Purdue University.  I am currently working

 at the largest veterinary clinic in our area, where besides my everyday responsibilities, I am

specializing in reproductive management.  I assist many local breeder's with hormone tests,

reproductive problems, artificial insemination, Semen shipping and natural breeding of their dogs.

 We provide progesterone testing, natural breeding, AI, semen collections, Sperm counts, surgical

implantations, normal C-sections or emergency, ultra-sounds and pregnancy x-rays after㺭 days . I

 am also a Veterinary Nutritional Advocate certified though Hill's Science Diet.  If you have any

nutrition or reproductive questions involving your pet please email me and I will be happy to help. I am

also an AKC CGC evaluatior and can arrange a time to test your dog and/or set up a CGC clinic. I

have spent my life with animals growing up on a farm and worked at the shelter through College.
